Examination Pattern

There is an online process for taking admissions to any course in NMIMS Online. Fresh admissions generally start in the month of January of every year. Admissions are done on direct basis which means no entrance exam score is required for taking admissions to any course in the university. The admission procedure 2023 for the online courses at NMIMS Online is as follows:

Step 1

Go to the official website of  and fill up the registration form followed by payment of the Admission Processing Fee.

Step 2

Students have to submit their academic and professional documents along with ID and photo to their Authorized Enrolment Partner.

Step 3

The counselor will verify all the documents after which students have to pay the program fee either online or through a Demand Draft.

Step 4

After all your documents have been verified and the fee payment has been processed, your admission will be confirmed and you will be issued a ‘student number’.

Exam Pattern & Guidelines 

The assessment and grade calculation at the university are based on a relative grading system, comprising three components: 

• Assignment 1

• Assignment 2

• Term End Examinations

 The final grading is determined by combining the scores from each of these components, considering their respective weightage.

 In the university, a relative grading system is employed to evaluate all subjects offered during each semester. The evaluation process consists of three components:

•  Assignment 1 (15% weightage)

• Assignment 2 (15% weightage)

• Term End Examinations (70% weightage)

To qualify for grading, the overall score should meet the minimum requirement of 40%.
