Procedure for Online Manipal Admission

The admission process for online courses at Manipal University is conducted through an online mode, with fresh admissions beginning in January of every year. Direct admissions are granted, and no entrance exam is conducted for the same. The admission procedure for 2023 is as follows:

Step 1: To begin the process, visit the official website of Manipal University and click on the "Enrol Now" button to apply online.

Step 2: Upload the necessary documents and submit the application.

Step 3: Pay the application fee of ?500, which will be later adjusted in the Semester 1 fees.

Step 4: Once the application is submitted, an admission counsellor will contact you for any further procedures required and guide you through the completion of the entire process.

Assessment pattern

Students' learning in a course will be evaluated through internal assignments, response sheets, and semester end exams. The university has a thorough process in place for developing question papers, assignments, and moderation, conducting exams, evaluating answer scripts, and declaring results. The evaluation includes continuous and summative assessments, and exams will be held with technology-supported remote proctored examination tools. There will be two systems of examinations - internal and external - with internal evaluation conducted via student assignments and quizzes. The internal assessment will comprise a maximum of 30 marks for each course, and end-semester exams will be of three hours duration for each course at the end of each semester.
